Provide department leadership, HR representatives, and workforce management with reliable reports, data, and analytics that will empower and influence key decision making. Access and integrate data for reporting to establish data standards, quality, and reliability. Enable the maturing of data usage and analytical insight within the department and the broader organization.

Responsibilities

This is a fully benefited time-bound position, not to exceed October of 2027.  This role is not eligible for separation pay.

Responsibilities

This level of data analyst will work with both structured and unstructured data from multiple systems and will provide strategic insights to business leaders on data use and interpretation. This level of data analyst will also provide strategic direction on data governance, data security, data modeling, and dashboard and report design and contribute to continuous improvement for data and analytics.

 

1.                  Develop data models and reports using Oracle SQL and Oracle Transaction Business Intelligence reporting tools

2.                  Test and validate quality, accuracy and consistency of reports and analyses developed by self and others

3.                  Respond in a timely and professional manner to ad hoc requests for data and advanced analytical insight, finding elegant solutions to complex questions and problems to enable business leaders to make informed decisions

4.                  Respond to escalated issues/questions about HR reports and analytics

5.                  Know and understand the full lifecycle of HR data and be current on data management best practices and common concerns within the industry

6.                  Lead interactions with clients to ensure business requirements are identified, documented and met and that the business relationship is strong between the Data and Analytics team and partner teams

7.                  Active and engaged collaboration in work meetings, both remote and in person

8.                  Document reporting designs, plans and work completed

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience:

BS/BA Degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field with minimum 6 years performing multiple system data validation, quality assessments, and configuration of reports and standardized dashboards

Demonstrated Skills & Abilities:

§     Strong knowledge and skill in Business Intelligence tools (ex. Oracle Analytics, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)

§     Significant experience writing of queries, and reports, using R and SQL

§     Executive presence and presentation skills including data storytelling

§     Partnering with senior department leaders across the departments with the ability to add value at a strategic level.

§     This role will actively participate in and lead cross department efforts to establish and maintain standards and governance to ensure that data governance and reporting are being managed with integrity across the organization

§     Work with minimal oversight and meets established deadlines

§     Delivers defined projects with little or no oversight

§     Problem solving, debugging/troubleshooting and the designing and implementation of solutions to complex technical issues

§     Thrives in both a team environment and as an individual contributor
