About the Role
We're seeking a strategic, results-driven Controller to build and lead our accounting function at Suno. This is an exceptional opportunity to steer financial integrity and scale a world-class accounting operation in a high-growth AI consumer tech company. You'll set the vision and execution roadmap for our accounting strategy, ensuring compliance, transparency, and operational excellence that aligns with Suno's mission.

What You'll Do
Build and lead Suno's accounting team, including financial reporting, technical accounting, compliance, accounts payable, accounts receivable and tax
Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
Design and implement scalable systems, processes, and controls to support business expansion and operational excellence
Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team
Partner with the leadership to support strategic initiatives and long-range planning
Serve as go-to expert for complex accounting issues including new lines of business
What You'll Need
Demonstrated success leading accounting at a high-growth tech company, ideally with both direct to consumer and enterprise motions
Hands-on approach with willingness to get scrappy and dive into details when necessary
Track record of transforming accounting systems and processes at scale
CPA certification and strong technical accounting foundation required
Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
Passion for operational excellence, data integrity, and building high ownership teams
Experience with SOX compliance and building relationships with external stakeholders
10+ years of experience in accounting, with Controller or senior accounting management experience
