Pay range: $102,700 - $207,400/annually

 

Without the strength of our Quality team, we would not be able to offer the industry-leading service we’re known for. We’re seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Director Professional. The ideal candidate will have proven industry experience as a Quality Assurance Director.

 

As a strong communicator and skilled hands-on Quality Assurance Director, you will allow and ensure that all Q.C. personnel follow all applicable procedures for product Inspection, and for equipment operation and safety requirements as documented in the Company manual and in compliance with all the company rules and regulations outlined in the company policy manual.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for supervising the Inspection department, Quality Engineer, and Quality Assurance. 
  • Responsible for managing the ISO9001/2000 Program and driving the ISO objectives within the company.
  • Ensure that all documentation Blueprints, Drawing is on file, current and complete prior to any jobs being run. Maintain records, organization of department and filing system. Primary focus on monitoring quality levels and returned materials. Ensure that all Q.C. have material, training and able to perform duties. Issuing and tracking returns. 
  • Liaise with Engineering, Production, Machine Shop, Contracts/Sales Purchasing, communicate well with others, foster teamwork, and a positive environment. 
  • Experience with destructive and/or non-destructive testing. 
  • Oversees requirements for Quality in Production and Machine Shop for all shifts and fulfill related department functions. 
  •  Responsible for enforcement and compliance with all company safety policies. 
  • Evaluate new and modified equipment, processes for compliance to First Article for customer specifications. 
  • Resolve non-conformance by using problem solving techniques and implement corrective action including communication to internal customers. 
  • Safely performs assignments, follows applicable safety practices, policies, and safe work behavior. Notifies management or appropriate personnel when a job hazard or an unsafe work practice emerges during work. 

 

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required with direct supervision of Quality Inspectors, Engineers, Document Control, Quality Assistants, and Shipping,

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 10 years of equivalent experience desirable
  • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience as Quality Control or Quality Assurance Management.
  • Quality Assurance certification a plus.
  • Experience utilizing most QC tools, Calipers, Micrometers, CMM, Comparater.
