The opportunity

Silverchains Clinical Service are currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner who is comfortable at providing a service autonomously to clients. You will be available for 2-3 days per week, Monday, Tuesday and Fridays, start times 7.00am/8.00am working a 7.6-hour day. This role will be based between three service centres of Myaree, Maddington & Kingsley.

Key Responsibilities

As a Nurse Practitioner you will have demonstrated extensive clinical skills in providing high standard patient care, and your ability to lead, direct and coordinate a team approach to patient centred care is essential.  You will possess a relevant Post Graduate qualification, and a minimum of three years’ experience within Wound and Ostomy care.

About you

The ideal candidate for this role will meet the following criteria:

  • A current Nurse Practitioner Registration
  • Provide a continence certificate
  • Well – developed knowledge regarding community resources available to enhance client quality of life.
  • Demonstrated advance clinical knowledge, skills and extended practice relevant to position.
  • Proven commitment to the development of learning, teaching and research orientated work, within a collaborative multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Ability to undertake and evaluate nursing research and integrate evidence-based research to practice.
  • A current Australian driver’s licence
