Job Summary:
As a Parts Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the parts department, manage inventory, supervise staff, and ensure exceptional customer service. This role requires strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of automotive parts, and the ability to build relationships with internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the ordering, receiving, stocking, and distribution of automotive parts
- Maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize obsolescence
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate pricing and delivery schedules
- Supervise and train parts department staff to achieve performance goals
- Provide timely and accurate parts support to service technicians and retail customers
- Monitor and analyze sales and profitability reports; adjust strategies accordingly
- Ensure compliance with company policies, manufacturer standards, and safety regulations
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional parts department environment
- Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction
