If our customers deserve outstanding healthcare, then so do you. - 5-x free telehealth GP appointments through Blua (our digital health platform) for you or your immediate family.- Career development; You’ll have a real say in shaping the future direction of the business and your own career because we believe that when you grow, Bupa grows. - Comprehensive induction and buddy program - we set you up for success from the outset and ease you into your new role with support - Be recognised and rewarded - Bupa Love Reward & Recognition Program ensures that the gratitude of our residents and their families is passed on to staff who deserve it  About the RoleAs the Lifestyle and Community Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of Person-First Leisure and Lifestyle Programs in our homes.You will manage a team of Lifestyle officers responsible for promoting emotional and physical rehabilitation through person-first recreational activities that promote holistic wellbeing, including providing residents with quality care, and actively supporting them to maintain the skill level, independence and mobility and proving respite support to their family/carers.In addition to overseeing the Person-First Leisure and Lifestyle Program and the team of recreational activity officers, you will be required to perform the role of the Recreational Activity Officer, alongside the Activity Officers within the care home.DutiesManage all Lifestyle Officers with excellent team leadershipProvide residents with quality care and actively supporting them to maintain their skill levels, independence and mobility and providing respite support to their family/carersWork collaboratively with other team members to effective plan and organise all recreational activity programsEnsure individual resident’s needs, values, spiritual and cultural preferences are taken into account when providing recreational careComplete documented assessments which determine and clearly state capabilities, needs and problemsComply with infection control and work health and safety standards Skills and ExperienceCert IV in Leisure and Lifestyle is desirable, degree level qualifications highly regardedPrevious experience gained in a similar roleSenior First Aid Certificate is essentialPrevious experience in caring for the elderly within an aged or community care settingHighly developed organisation and time management skillsThe ability to solve problems independentlyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAn understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes As a member of our team.
