Summary
The Junior Legal Analyst will provide legal support for the company’s operations in Latin America, working under the guidance of the Senior Counsel. The role will focus on commercial contracts, regulatory matters, data privacy, and corporate governance, while supporting cross-functional teams such as Compliance, Risk, and Business. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a young legal professional to gain exposure to fintech, payments, and financial services within a dynamic and highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Contracts & Legal Documentation
- Draft, review, and support negotiation of commercial and regulatory contracts.
- Ensure alignment of contract terms with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.
Legal Research & Advisory
- Conduct legal research on diverse matters and prepare memoranda, reports, and opinions.
- Support day-to-day legal requests from business, compliance, and risk teams.
Regulatory & Corporate Support
- Collaborate with external counsel on licensing, corporate, and regulatory projects.
- Assist in corporate governance processes, data protection matters, and intellectual property issues.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure business operations comply with legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Provide clear and practical legal advice to support business growth in LATAM markets.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law with active bar registration (OAB or equivalent).
Experience:
- Initial experience (internship or entry-level role) in a regulated business environment (fintech, banking, payments, or financial services preferred).
Languages:
- Portuguese – Fluent/Native (mandatory).
- English – Required.
- Spanish – Desirable.
