Permanent- Full-time, 35 hours per week A Back of House Manager in retail is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the stockroom and related activities, ensuring accurate inventory, efficient processing of deliveries, and maintaining order and cleanliness. This role involves managing inbound and outbound stock, overseeing e-commerce fulfilment, after sales and Faulty management, Store Audits and leading a team, as well as ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. What you’ll do: As a Back of House Manager, you will: Stock Management: • Oversee all stockroom operations including receiving, processing, organizing, and inventory control of merchandise. • Ensure accurate and timely data entry in the inventory management system. • Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to sales floor as required. • Ensure compliance with company procedures for loss prevention and security. • Coordinate regular inspections and maintenance of all BOH and FOH facilities to maintain brand standards. Inventory Management: • Accurately track and manage all inventory, including processing inbound deliveries. • preparing outbound transfers and managing IBTs (Inbound and Back Transfers. • faulty items, negative stock, and markdowns. E-commerce Fulfillment: • Manage daily e-commerce fulfillment, which includes picking, packing, and shipping orders directly to customers. Stockroom Management: • Coordinate regular inspections and maintenance of all BOH and FOH facilities to maintain brand standards. • Ensure the stockroom is organized, clean, and maintained to company standards. This includes proper labeling, logical placement of stock. • Adherence to health and safety guidelines. Team Leadership: • Lead and motivate a team of employees, providing training, support, and guidance to ensure they meet performance expectations. Loss Prevention: • Identify and address issues that contribute to shrinkage, such as inventory discrepancies and damaged merchandise. Communication: - Communicate effectively with other departments, such as customer service, support office leaders, and other stores, to ensure seamless operations. Compliance: • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations and guidelines including managing store audits. Training: • Provide training and onboarding for new employees, ensuring they are competent in their roles. Store Supplies: • Oversee store supplies and ensure the retail store has everything it needs for daily operations. After sales: • Manage After sales process for Faulty items, regular meetings with store team to manage repairs in store and regular meetings with head office leads to ensure smooth running. We’d love to see: • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to lead and motivate a team. • Knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures. • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Ability to work independently and under pressure. • Experience in a retail environment is preferred.
