Summary:

The RF Test Automation Engineer V leads technical innovation and provides training and technical guidance to all levels of the business. The RF Test Automation Engineer V designs, develops and implements end-to-end software and hardware solutions for the automation of complex test processes for the manufacture of advanced RF devices.

Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead company-wide test automation initiatives for RF Hardware: Work with counterparts throughout engineering and production to develop and implement world-class test software to automate the qualification and verification of advanced RF hardware.
  • Develop and execute test plans: Create comprehensive test plans for RF systems and components. Particular focus on NI LabView.
  • Collaborate with design engineers: Work closely with design teams and systems engineers to ensure RF products meet performance standards. Train and mentor less experienced engineers and technicians.
  • Lead the test engineering function for new RF product and R&D projects from product concept to launch.
  • Perform RF testing: Use advanced test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and signal generators.
  • Analyze test data: Provide detailed reports on performance, quality, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug: Identify and resolve issues in RF systems and components.
  • Develop automated test scripts: Improve testing efficiency through automation.
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering.
  • Experience with LabView is preferred.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience in a specialized functional discipline.
    • OR (14) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelors Degree.
    • OR (8) years of experience in designing and implementing automated software for test and manufacturing and may be considered w/ a Masters Degree.
    • OR (5) years of experience may be considered w/ a PhD.
  • Applicable experience in lieu of a Degree may be considered.
  • Master degree is preferred.

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.
  • Pay Range: $137,574.35 - $212,000.00 annually. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
