SALARY: The salary range for this position is $91,727.00 to $147,388.89. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater.

REMOTE WORK: The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.
Position Duties
The Camden Vicinage is seeking a versatile and proactive individual with strong leadership, analytical, administrative, financial management, and communication skills to serve as the Assistant Finance Division Manager (Court Executive 1B). Under the general direction of the Court Executive 2B (Vicinage Finance Division Manager), the selected candidate will assist in planning, directing and evaluating the work of the Finance Division. The Assistant Finance Division Manager will directly oversee the Court Held Funds Units in the vicinage, including fines, fees, restitution, escrow and other court ordered payments. The successful candidate will also be responsible for coordinating the daily activities of the Vicinage Finance Office, such as accounting, purchasing, budgeting, fixed asset management, position control, and financial reporting. This individual must be self-motivated, results oriented, committed to quality service, and possess strong technical and computer skills. Other duties include, but are not limited to, the development, implementation, and/or maintenance of internal controls, operating procedures and systems; regulating the flow of work; prioritizing work in accordance with operating schedules; supervising employees; conducting formal work performance evaluations with staff, mentoring and coaching staff; providing direction and feedback; mediating and resolving conflict and developing staff through training.
Regular and predictable physical presence at the worksite is an essential function of this position.Minimum Qualifications
Substitution: Applicants who do not possess the required education but do possess the required 21 credit hours in accounting, business administration, economics, public administration, and/or finance (including six accounting credit hours), may substituted experience on a year-for-year basis. A master's degree may be substituted for one year of general experience as indicated above-OR-a CPA designation may be submitted for one year of general experience as indicated above.

Authorization to Work: US citizenship is not required. Selected candidate must be authorized to work in the US according to Department of Homeland Security, US Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations.

Residency Law: In accordance with N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L. 2011, Chapter 70), the "New Jersey First Act," all persons newly hired by the Judiciary within one year must establish, and then maintain, principal residence in the State of New Jersey. Any person may request an exemption from that requirement from the Employee Residency Review Committee in the Department of Labor & Workforce Development on the basis of either hardship or employer critical need.
