About the Department
Join the City of Grants Pass as an Economic Development Specialist. This position is full-time with benefits and will work Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This position will:
- Prepare marketing material
- Provide support to City projects
- Communicate with the business community
- Perform the day-to-day management and coordinate special events
- Assist Division Manager with day-to-day operations and coordinate special events.

Position Duties
An Associate’s Degree in a related field, such as business administration or marketing, and three years of related experience are required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed in the job description. Experience with marketing, retail, and/or public relations experience for Economic Development preferred.
Licensing Requirements (positions in this class require):
- Oregon Driver’s License Class C
