PPI Specialist III Role (Continuous Improvement)

Position Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated PPI Specialist III to join our PPI team and with the Shared Service teams at our Paisley site. In this position, you will identify and put into action initiatives that drive process efficiencies, improve customer experiences, and promote employee engagement. Your drive will aid in achieving our objectives seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and collaborate with functional teams to streamline processes, improve the customer experience, enable growth, and improve employee retention.
- Cultivate an action-biased culture of continuous improvement to improve critical metrics in customer, finance, people, and quality areas.
- Support the development of problem-solving capabilities at all organisational levels to implement balanced solutions.
- Train, mentor, and follow up with teams to ensure balanced system improvements and independent process management.
- Work closely with the site PPI steering committee to accelerate the culture change necessary to support the PPI Business System.
- Provide ongoing support to teams deploying rapid responder to drive countermeasures to everyday problems.
- Drive execution of Kaizen and RCCM activities by leading and mentoring by example.
- Assist teams in identifying new projects through value stream mapping, data analysis, and daily management systems.
- Collaborate with the PPI Network to develop, promote, standardize, and share standard methodologies.
- Act as an expert in the subject matter for Dploy (Cloud-based digital management system for critical metrics leadership), offering mentorship and support.
- Perform Gemba walks to observe processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Prepare monthly reports to share with Leadership and maintain Roadmap, PPI Engagement boards, and other visual management on-site.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in engineering, science, operations, or business.
- Effective interpersonal abilities to establish positive connections and influence leadership and various organizational levels.
- Established troubleshooter with the capability to merge and optimize systems for effective advantages throughout the site.
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement in both non-operational and operational areas, connecting cross-functional resources to eliminate waste.
- Passionate about driving improvement and leading change.
- Consistent track record in developing, training, and mentoring teams.
- Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
- Broad knowledge of multi-functional processes and financial business methods.
- High ethical standards supporting a professional business code of conduct.
- Creative problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Leadership experience in operations, commercial, engineering, quality, or product management.
- Lean Practitioner with 1+ years of hands-on experience implementing successful TPS fundamentals.
- Expertise in problem-solving using formal programs/processes.
