The Manager – Facilities, Maintenance, and EHS ( Environmental, Health, and Safety ) is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of facility operations, maintenance programs, and environmental, health, and safety compliance. This role ensures a safe, efficient, and compliant workplace, supporting business continuity and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilities Management
- Oversee daily operations of building systems, grounds, and equipment.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts for facility services.
Maintenance Leadership
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- Supervise maintenance staff and ensure timely resolution of equipment and infrastructure issues.
EHS Compliance & Program Management
- Lead EHS initiatives to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Develop and deliver safety training, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement in safety culture.
Team Development & Collaboration
- Recruit, train, and mentor facilities, maintenance and EHS staff.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with operations, HR, and other departments.
Budgeting & Resource Management
- Prepare and manage budgets for facilities, maintenance, and EHS programs.
- Monitor expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Emergency Preparedness & Response
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans.
- Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience combined in facilities, maintenance, or EHS management, including those in a leadership role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Professional certifications (e.g., CFM, PMP, CSP, CIH).
- Experience in manufacturing or regulated environments, med device highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance best practices, and EHS regulations.
- Proven leadership and team development skills.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
This position is not open to employer based visa sponsorship.
Disclosure as required by applicable law, the annual salary range for this position is $94,667 to $148,763. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level. The salary range is CONMED’s good faith belief at the time of this posting.
