Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals affected by domestic abuse?

Clarion offers an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated and talented individual to build a career working for one of the UK’s largest housing associations. Alongside providing general needs housing, Clarion also delivers support services to some of the most vulnerable people in society.  Our work supporting individuals and families who have experienced domestic abuse offers our customers the opportunity to move on and live fulfilled, safe lives following the trauma they’ve experienced.

We’re looking for an organised Support Officer to join our compassionate team of Independent Domestic Violence Advisors (IDVAs). In this important role, you’ll provide client-focused administrative support that truly prioritises the safety and well-being of individuals and their children.

In a fast-paced, multi-agency environment, you’ll help us deliver a seamless support service, working closely with MARAC protocols and local partners. Your attention to detail and commitment to best practices will be vital as you assist and support the team in keeping accurate, up-to-date records of risk assessments, safety planning, and case management using our case management systems. You’ll also play a crucial role in triaging new referrals to ensure that every individual receives the timely care and attention they deserve, with an IDVA allocated within 24 hours or by the next working day.

This is not just a job; it's an opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to life-changing outcomes, all while being part of a service that puts clients and their children at the heart of everything we do. If you have a compassionate spirit, a strong sense of organisation, and a commitment to supporting those who are at high risk of domestic abuse, we would love to hear from you.

A full training package will be provided to new members of our team to help them develop the skills to become a great Support Officer.
