Job Description:
Position Overview
This position is responsible for assisting with the collection and testing raw materials and finished products.
Key Responsibilities
Perform activities associated with the collection, preparation and testing of samples.
Document test results and identify issues or concerns. Provide basic recommendations or escalate for resolution.
Document and report finished product meets prescribed standards.
Assist in calibration of analytical instrumentation; maintain associated documentation.
Monitor, test and assist in the repair and maintenance of equipment and environmental systems, if applicable.
What is expected of you and others at this level
Has developed proficiency in a range of processes or procedures through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience
Completes a variety of atypical assignments
Works within defined processes and procedures or methodologies and may help determine the appropriate approach for new assignments
Works with a limited degree of supervision
Acts as an informal resource for colleagues with less experience
Minimum Qualifications & Skills
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, Associate’s Degree preferred
3-5 years’ relevant experience required
Physical Requirements and Working Environment
Working conditions include laboratory work as well as office work
Must be able to sit/stand for an extended period of time
Exposure to dust, chemicals, hazardous materials etc.
