Marsh has been consistently enhancing its long-term, dedicated change management capability. This presents an exciting opportunity for a motivated change professional to join a growing and well-regarded team. The role will be instrumental in shaping and advancing Marsh’s people-centered Organizational Change Management (OCM) and Organizational Design (OD) capabilities, driving more effective transformation and operational change delivery. This is a hybrid role (3 days a week in the office, 2 days from home) from either New York City or Austin, TX.

Senior Manager, IT Change Management

We will count on you to:

  • Provide senior and strategic organizational change management (OCM) and organizational development (OD) expertise to support the business in preparing for, delivering, and adopting a wide range of change initiatives with a strong focus on human behavior and people impact.

  • Collaborate closely with Change Management and Transformation Leaders, the Chief Operating Officer, and global/regional teams to execute the US change management strategy effectively.

  • Lead and develop a team of change practitioners, building trusted relationships across the business to strengthen change capability and provide visible change leadership.

  • Influence senior stakeholders and business leaders to embed effective, people-focused change management approaches aligned with business objectives and culture.

  • Drive enhanced change analytics and adoption tracking to ensure sustainable benefits realization and improved employee experience.

What you need to have:

  • At least 8 years of total experience, including 2-4 years specifically in change management or related roles within large, complex organizations.

  • Deep knowledge of OCM/OD principles, methodologies, and people-focused change management approaches.

  • Professional certification in change management (e.g., APMG, Prosci) is highly recommended.

  • Familiarity with project/program management methodologies such as PMP, Prince2, Lean Six Sigma, or similar frameworks.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop practical solutions for complex change challenges.

  • Experience leading coaching sessions, workshops, and change readiness activities to prepare teams for new ways of working.

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $133,500 to $267,000.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
