Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Specialist to join our team at Ethos Laboratories. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing, documenting inventory, creating a catalog of products, and shipping inventory to other lab locations. This position requires strong analytical skills and experience in inventory management, procurement, and/or logistics to optimize our inventory processes and enhance overall operational efficiency.

NORMAL WORKING HOURS: 8:00am to 4:30pm (Hours many vary depending on need)
REPORTS TO: Owner
POSITIONS SUPERVISED: None
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Inventory Management: Oversee the entire inventory lifecycle, from procurement to distribution.
· Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of inventory transactions, including purchase orders, receipts, and shipping documentation.
· Inventory Control Procedures: Implement and maintain effective processes for inventory management, including cycle counting, stock rotation, and reconciliation.
· Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
· Reporting & Analysis: Generate regular inventory reports, analyze data, and identify trends or areas for improvement.
· Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with shipping and logistics to ensure the transfer of inventory to other lab location is seamless.
· Loss Prevention: Develop and implement measures to minimize losses due to damage, theft, or obsolescence.
· System Documentation: Input inventory data into inventory management software and systems.

Requirements
EDUCATION / TRAINING EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent is required;
Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related field is preferred.
