- Support implementation of FPS Strategic Initiatives and Instructional Frameworks.
- Serve as liaison between district leaders, school teams, and external partners.

Design and deliver high-impact professional learning for teachers and staff.
Lead and support teacher groups, including release days, and mentor new teachers
Support coaches in delivering professional development and implementing curriculum and district initiatives.
Collaborate with teachers, including coaches, to plan, model, co-teach, observe, and provide feedback on core instruction and interventions.
Analyze district and school data to design, implement, and assess the impact of district and school initiatives.
Support and evaluation programs and strategies that address diverse student needs and equitable access.
Monitor curricular resource implementation and support instructional improvements.
- Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or Educational Leadership.
- Valid North Dakota teaching or administrative license.
- Minimum five years of experience in teaching, coaching, or curriculum leadership.
- Expertise in curriculum design, instructional practices, and formative/summative assessment.
- Ability to analyze data, collaborate across departments, and provide teacher support.
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- Experience supporting district-wide educational initiatives.
- Familiarity with Fargo Public Schools’ Strategic Plan and local academic goals.
- Record of fostering instructional improvement and student growth.

Purpose:
The Curriculum Facilitator supports district-wide implementation of Fargo Public Schools’ Strategic Plan through leadership in curriculum, instruction, assessment, and professional development. This position exists to enhance student outcomes by supporting educators with high-quality instructional practices, curriculum alignment, and evidence-based strategies, while promoting equity and continuous improvement across the district.

This position reports to: Director of Standards-Based Instruction.
Frequent contact with administrators, teachers, support staff, families, and community partners. Facilitators will support coaches directly with professional development and curriculum implementation and initiatives. This role requires building trust, providing feedback, and collaborating across diverse teams while maintaining confidentiality and promoting instructional excellence.
Problem Solving & Decision-Making
This position requires the ability to assess instructional and programmatic challenges and respond with timely, data-driven, and collaborative solutions. Decisions regarding program alignment, coaching priorities, and instructional support are made independently, while broader strategic decisions are referred to department leadership.

The incumbent performs tasks under the direction of a certified teacher and responds to day-to-day needs, answer questions, and respond to emergent issues. Non-emergent issues are discussed with the Teacher or Building Principal. The incumbent takes initiative to ensure completion of all tasks and will adjust priorities to accommodate competing workload demands.
