Job Description:

Join our team as the Senior Wellbeing Manager and become one of the authors of our story. In this position, they will be serving the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by acting as an ambassador of our ENRICH values and to the service standards of Spa Solage. The Senior Wellbeing Manager is accountable for a smooth flow of business in the Spa. They will provide resort & spa guests with operational excellence to increase sales and encourage repeat business. The Senior Wellbeing Manager will maintain this level of excellence by hiring, training and managing the most qualified of spa team members . They will develop and implement policies and procedures that ensure a quality working environment for all Spa team members as outlined in the standards developed by Auberge, Solage, and the Wellbeing leadership.

  • Maintain and champion the Auberge Resorts Collection and Solage culture with all guests, managers, and team members
  • Handle guest complaints or problems immediately, ensuring guest satisfaction, internal and external follow up. 
  • Translate errors and guest feedback into operational learnings and processes.
  • Ensure the spa, bathhouse and fitness facilities are prepared for proper opening and closing each day
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the facilities including ensuring facility/amenities are in proper working order
  • Must be the initial and complete source of information regarding what is available at the Spa and all procedures to ensure guest comfort (i.e., treatments, equipment, products, and retail items)
  • Develop a high-level of proficiency in the spa operating system to include treatment and staff build, yield management, online booking management, and operational efficiencies.
  • Support Director of Wellbeing with all administrative functions of the Spa, fitness, and bathhouse.
  • Responsible for maintaining inventory of supplies, answering telephones, making appointments, and answering questions
  • Provide Spa tours as necessary
  • Oversee efficiency of Spa operations at the Spa front desk via proper scheduling of appointments and staff
  • Assist the Spa front desk team with billing for all Spa services and retail sales including preparing receipts, as needed
  • Be thoroughly familiar with and provide instruction on Spa software
  • Assist with inventories (receiving, inputting, counts) and cost control
  • Manage Spa Reception, Bathhouse, and Locker Room team members
  • Train and assist in the development of Spa team members as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

The starting range for this position is $95,000-$105,000/yr. This is the pay rate for this position that Solage reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education. 

Qualifications:
  • Experience at a luxury hospitality property, preferred 
  • Minimum 3-year experience in a spa or related field
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs
  • Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all levels of team members and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner. 
  • Must have experience in managing a team
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritise departmental functions to meet deadlines.
  • Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying , and solving problems as necessary
  • Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of information
  • Hygiene is key in this environment due to the proximity of working with the guests
