Clinical Compliance Coordinator bei Caldwell University

Caldwell University invites applications for a full-time Clinical Compliance Coordinator. Reporting to the Dean of the School of Nursing and Health Services, the Clinical Compliance Coordinator supports students by arranging student clinical experiences to enhance their clinical skills. The Clinical Compliance Coordinator will collaborate with the lead course faculty to ensure that course, program, and student learning outcomes are being met. Job duties include, but are not limited:

• Facilitating the onboarding process for students and faculty entering clinical environments, including frequent communication with faculty and students regarding the expected clinical and site orientation requirements, reviewing and approving of the required documents, and addressing barriers to clinical clearance completion.

• Serving as the primary contact for clinical agencies, responsible for the maintenance and renewal of clinical affiliation agreements.

• Making outreach to new clinical agencies and promoting clinical partnerships

• Collaborating with nurse educators, managers, and site supervisors as needed in the clinical agencies to ensure student clinical compliance is maintained.

• Representing Caldwell University at the clinical affiliation meetings as requested by agencies, usually 1-3 times per year, as needed.

• Managing clinical clearance requirements for students and faculty within the School of Nursing and Health Services through the utilization of data management systems.

• Maintaining confidentiality working with student and faculty health records.

• Collaborating with departmental chairs to assist with the clinical placements process and determining the number of clinical sections needed.

• Completing clinical clearance process in a timely manner; including preparing, documenting, and tracking clinical assignments.

• Participating in Admissions events during the academic year.

Registered Nurse holding a current license in New Jersey, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.  At least three years of current clinical experience as a RN within the past 5 years.
