Responsibilities
Lead the development of Agentic AI-powered tools supporting submission triage, risk scoring, and portfolio analytics. Collaborate across product management, customer success, development, and commercial teams to deliver underwriting decision support capabilities integrating Moody’s data and analytics into client workflows.
- Develop and execute product strategy for underwriting decision support across casualty and financial lines, prioritising customer problems using the jobs-to-be-done (JTBD) framework.
- Define solution features (submission triage, risk scoring, portfolio impact analysis) and translate underwriting workflows into MVP requirements with engineering, modelling, and data teams.
- Collaborate with GenAI engineers and IRP platform teams to deliver scalable, integrated underwriting solutions.
- Lead customer validation with underwriters, CUOs, pricing actuaries, and stakeholders to ensure product-market fit.
- Analyse market trends, regulatory drivers, customer feedback, and competitive dynamics to inform product positioning and roadmap.
- Prepare business cases and strategic plans for underwriting-focused product initiatives.
- Support development of annual sales forecasts, performance tracking frameworks, and strategic KPIs.
- Contribute to pricing and packaging strategies based on market elasticity and customer appetite.
- Support product education and sales enablement efforts through briefings, demos, and GTM content.
- Monitor execution of underwriting product strategy across departments.
Skills & Competencies
- 5+ years’ experience in insurance, product strategy, or product development.
- Familiarity with JTBD frameworks and persona-based strategy development.
- Strong analytical skills (ROI modelling, market analysis).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in build/buy/partner evaluations and strategic planning.
- Knowledge of casualty insurance markets and emerging risk trends (preferred).
- Experience with AI/GenAI-powered solutions (bonus).
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
