POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the production, delivery, and maintenance of key financial and regulatory reporting. Prepares financial reports for Management, Executive Committee, Board of Directors and regulatory agencies in the financial services industry. Assists with the coordination of audits and regulatory exams. Automates current processes for departmental and bank wide needs via the creation of ad hoc reports and data summaries.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares internal monthly, quarterly and annual reports to Management, Executive Committee, and Board of Directors.
- Prepares external monthly, quarterly and annual reports to FDIC, FFIEC, FRB, DIF and FHLB.
- Compiles data and produces reports for the quarterly Asset - Liability Committee meetings (ALCO).
- Evaluates and implements operational and processing procedures to improve department efficiencies and the integrity of the Bank’s financial records.
- Creates, maintains, and updates reports based on the Bank’s evolving needs.
- Investment accounting & reporting.
- Prepares financial reporting information in response to internal/external audit requests.
- Prepares and reviews account reconciliations.
- Supports the Controller and other members of the Accounting department.

REQUIRED SKILLS: Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills. Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills. Experience Strong proficiency in various finance and accounting related software programs. in managing multiple projects and workflow in a deadline driven environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is generally performed in an office
environment, with frequent interruptions. Must be able to stay in a stationary position, operate a computer, move inside the workplace, and exchange information. This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement in accordance with Webster Five’s Remote Work Policy.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent years of experience.
MINIMUM PRIOR EXPERIENCE: 7 years of experience in a related position.
