What you will be doing... Your IMPACT
- Manage and ensure completion of SIRE inspections for ACBL vessels and barges and assist with responding to customer inquiries.
- Serve as continuous improvement champion by correcting SIRE deficiencies and working with ACBL stakeholders to reduce preventable observations.
- Coordinate with third party SIRE inspectors to inform them of vessel locations and track/meet SIRE due dates.
- Assist with investigations by collating information from data systems and coordinating with other ACBL stakeholders.
- Assist with updating the Safety Management System.
- Publishes and updates Tug/Barge Particulars Questionnaires on OCIMF website.
- Process invoices and assists vendors with account inquiries.
- Schedule and coordinate QI training and annual exercises with Oil Spill Removal Organization (OSRO).
- Update and submit Vessel Response Plan edits to the Unites States Coast Guard for approval.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for...
You will need to have:
- High School diploma/GED
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Must have good analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
- Must possess ability to communicate professionally and effectively through all media channels.
- Must possess proficiency in using MS Office software.
- Must wear Protective Personal Equipment (PPE) when required.
- Must be available for occasional travel.
- Must be available for On-Call support 24/7.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and TWIC card.
Even better if you have...
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Maritime Management, Health & Safety or a related field.
- 5-8 Years of relevant work experience.
