We are seeking the immediate hire of an MEP Engineer for our DFW Airport project in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas.

 

Under the supervision of the Texas Operations Manager, the Mechanical Electrical Plumbing Engineer performs plan reviews, inspections, coordinates, and performs related professional engineering work to support the Engineering Division of various municipalities. 

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Performs engineering analysis to include plan review and inspection, and prepares technical reports, and provides comments related to planning, design, and construction.
  • Performs basic engineering calculations, analysis, and modeling.
  • Meets and coordinates with facility staff, consultants, contractors, government agencies, and utilities companies.
  • Reviews existing drawings, plans, and specifications for new facilities and construction as assigned.
  • Monitors construction projects and coordinates activities and information as directed. Ensures conformance with state and federal laws and City codes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and required.

 

Requirements:
We will consider any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for this job.
 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing or directly related engineering field.
  • Must be licensed as a Professional Engineer by the State of Texas 
  • Must be licensed in Mechanical and Plumbing. Preferred Electrical license as well, but will still consider.

 

Required Knowledge, Abilities, & Skills:

  • Municipal organization, operations, policies and procedures.
  • Professional Engineering principles, practices, methods and standards.
  • Engineering design principles required in planning construction projects.
  • Safety procedures and use of personal protective equipment and ability to apply safety principles.
  • Wastewater treatment processes.

  • The wage range for this role commences at $60-75/hr, which is negotiable and subject to potential increases that are contingent on factors like experience, education, licenses, or certifications.
