Essential Job Responsibilities

Finance & Accounting

  • Oversee all accounting tasks, including AP/AR, and monthly/annual closings.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports for management.
  • Manage banking relationships, cash flow, vendor payments, and expense tracking.
  • Coordinate with local accountants, auditors, and tax authorities to ensure full compliance with French GAAP and regulations.
  • Process invoices, reconcile accounts, and maintain meticulous financial records.

Administration

  • Handle all administrative operations, including vendor contracts, insurance, and office management within the delegation of authority matrix.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory filings, company policies, and operational procedures.
  • Partner with Supply Chain to manage facilities, supplies and internal logistics

Human Resources

  • Act as the primary HR contact for employees in France, ensuring compliance with French labor laws.
  • Administer payroll, benefits, and employee contracts in partnership with external providers.
  • Oversee employee onboarding, offboarding, and personnel file management.
  • Coordinate recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview scheduling.
  • Support employee relations, performance tracking, and training coordination.
  • Maintain health & safety compliance.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in accounting HR, and administrative roles within French organizations.
  • In-depth knowledge of French accounting standards, payroll processes, and labor laws.
  • Experience working with accounting and payroll software, plus proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Fluent French and English; excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
