Executive ASUS Wellness Team Volunteer Position(s)

Overview

The Wellness team is responsible for promoting mental and physical health among students while emphasizing the significance of intersectionality in wellness. They will identify key wellness issues through research, compile an Annual Wellness Report, and develop initiatives to enhance student well-being. The team collaborates with their Director and ASUS leadership, Student Wellness Services, and the Faculty of Arts and Science to foster meaningful discussions and implement impactful wellness programs.

Time Commitment and Remuneration

Term: October 2025 – April 30th, 2026

Hours: 4-6 hours per week

Honorarium: Awarded based on the Honorarium Grid in the Human Resources Policy (Click here)

Responsibilities

    • Internal Logistics Coordinater
      • Internal operations for wellness events (scheduling, venue setup, equipment).
      • Maintain and organize wellness resources and documentation
      • Facilitate team communication and support execution of wellness programs.
    • External Logistics Coordinator
      • Manage relationships with external partners, vendors, and guest speakers
      • Coordinate resources and services needed for wellness events.
      • Ensure compliance with university policies for all external collaborations.
    • Outreach Coordinator
      • Design and implement wellness campaigns addressing diverse student needs.
      • Engage students through surveys, focus groups, and feedback mechanisms.
      • Evaluate program effectiveness and adjust initiatives to improve outcomes.
    • Marketing Coordinator
        • Develop and maintain a cohesive wellness brand across platforms.
        • Create content and manage social media to promote wellness programs.
        • Analyze engagement metrics to optimize marketing strategies.
