About this Location:

This position is located at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Alpharetta, GA. Perfectly situated in the heart of North Atlanta’s technology corridor, our hotel is surrounded by Fortune 500 companies, shopping, and dining at Avalon and North Point Mall. We’re just minutes from GA 400 and a short drive from Downtown Atlanta. With spacious suites, a thriving business community, and plenty of nearby attractions, you’ll be working in a location that blends Southern hospitality with convenience and opportunity.

 

Why do we need you? 

To mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to patrons of the bar, while following standard recipes.

What will you do? 

  1. Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitter to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
  2. Serves wine and other draught or bottled beer.
  3. Orders and requisitions liquors and supplies.
  4. Places bottled goods and glasses to make an attractive display.
  5. May slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.
  6. May prepare appetizers, such as pickles, cheese, and cold meats.
  7. Performs in compliance with established company policies and procedures.
  8. Performs in compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  9. Responsible for compliance with all state and local regulations pertaining to the public operation of the hotel’s bar area, including maximum safe occupancy, emergency exit accessibility, smoke-free area maintenance.
  10. Responsible for knowing and recognizing in-state and out-of-state drivers licenses and state-issued identification cards.
  11. Supports and adheres to the core values, the mission statement, service fundamentals, and guest service philosophy as defined by the company.
  12. Required to be always in uniform when working on the property, including wearing a name identification badge.
  13. All other duties as assigned by a manager or supervisor.

Skills and Abilities you bring:

  • Use arithmetic to total costs and make change.
  • Provide guests with information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Stand or walk for varying lengths of time, sometimes for long periods.
  • Move fingers and hands easily and quickly to handle things like dishes and merchandise.
  • Lift and carry things like heavy trays.

Schedule & Hours:

Position is Part-Time under 30hrs/wk with rotating schedule. Ability to work any day during the week as well as holidays.

Requirements:

  • High School completion or an equivalent level of education and experience.
  • Current Food Worker’s and Liquor Server’s Permit (if applicable)
  • Bartending experience preferred.
  • Demonstrate excellent public contact skills.
