Wearwell has an opportunity on 2nd shift for a Laminating Tender
Monday through Friday 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Load precut sheets of rolled vinyl or rubber onto a conveyor centering the mat according to production specifications (feeder).
- Maintain a steady flow of materials to prevent interruptions.
- May stack, roll, box, or label mats as finished product comes off the conveyor.
- Safely perform assigned tasks on a moving assembly line within a time-restricted breakdown designated for that task.
- Able to work overtime as necessary.
- React positively to change.
- Perform other duties as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Three (3) months manufacturing or warehouse experience and/or equivalent education, training, or experience in job-related activities.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 55 lbs. and occasionally push or pull up to 75 lbs.
- Demonstrate effective team and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to cross-train in other functional areas.
- This position requires attention to detail and focus on quality.
- Reliable attendance is a must.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
