This Behavorial Health Manager will be a part of our Behavioral Health Leadership Team and will directly oversee our new Integrated Behavioral Health Fellowship. You can read more about our new Fellowship here.  

 

Accountabilities Include: 

  • Design and implement Fellowship program curriculum, including educational objectives, rotations, faculty assignments, and assessment plans.
  • Ensure integrated behavioral health model fidelity in collaboration with the integrated behavioral health manager. 
  • Determines when fellows and new trainee staff members have met competency requirements for their role in collaboration with the Fellowship & Training Clinic team. 
  • Track fellows' outcomes, such as job placements. 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners to promote the fellowship program.
  • When appropriate and needed, provide full scope of integrated behavioral health care for patients being seen by fellows.

Qualifications: 

  • Must have at least 5 years’ experience in a primary role as mental health or behavioral health provider.
  • Must be able to interact with a variety of individuals at various levels under stressful circumstances while exercising sound judgement, tact, and diplomacy; work productively both independently and in a team setting; communicate with clarity, both verbally and in writing to groups of all sizes and levels; possess the confidence and ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on controversial or complex topics to workforce members, leadership, and the governing board. 

Education and/or Experience: 

Required: 

  • At least five years of experience in a primary role as mental health or behavioral health provider.
  • Degree in master’s level social work, marriage and family or counseling program
  • Must hold a valid license with an Oregon counseling board for at least two years (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) and be eligible to provide clinical supervision for board registered associates in Oregon.
  • Experience and working knowledge of standard work and essential job duties.
  • Experience in providing training to workforce members.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
  • Skills to intervene and promote reconciliation, compromise, and positive outcomes in difficult interactions.
  • Skilled at using electronic health records as applicable to area of work (EPIC, Eagle Soft)

Preferred: 

  • Clinical supervision training to provide ongoing clinical supervision to unlicensed behavioral health clinicians.
  • Experience in training and education
  • Experience and knowledge of therapeutic interventions with youth
  • Basic knowledge of adult learning models
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
