Responsibilities
Daily, Monthly, and Quarterly
Proactively identify and resolve report/system issues, coordinate with IT for testing and fixes.
Provide on-demand assistance, training and issue resolution to ensure continuity and confidence.
Analyze transactional data for anomalies, inefficiencies, or automation opportunities.
Review report accuracy and alignment; escalate discrepancies to IT and track resolution.
Update process documentation and training materials to reflect system and business process changes.
Lead workshops with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.
Process Analysis & Design
- Document and analyze end-to-end finance processes (Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, FP&A, costing, general accounting, etc.).
- Identify inefficiencies, manual activities, and automation opportunities.
- Partner with stakeholders to redesign processes that leverage AI, RPA, and advanced analytics.
AI & Automation Enablement
Evaluate and implement automation solutions using AI tools.
Develop and maintain AI dashboards and predictive models for financial KPIs.
- Support proof-of-concepts and pilots for AI and automation initiatives.
- Develop business cases with cost/benefit analysis and ROI modeling for automation projects.
Project & Change Management
- Act as a liaison between finance, IT, and vendors to translate requirements into solutions.
- Support project lifecycle from requirements gathering through implementation.
- Drive user adoption by creating training materials and supporting change management activities.
- Train finance teams on new AI-enabled tools and workflows
Continuous Improvement & Governance
- Monitor and optimize existing automation solutions for performance and compliance.
- Establish and maintain governance for automation initiatives.
- Ensure solutions comply with SOX, audit, and internal control standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or related field.
3–7 years in finance, accounting, or business process analysis.
Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle Fusion Cloud, NetSuite, or similar).
Leveraging existing applications for AI. (FloQast, Planful, Workiva, Oracle Fusion Cloud)
Hands-on experience with automation tools (RPA, workflow, AI/ML, or analytics platforms).
Analytical mindset with a focus on data integrity and operational insight.
Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
Skills:
- Strong business process mapping and documentation skills (Visio, Lucidchart, or similar).
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset; ability to design innovative solutions.
- Strong understanding of data modeling. (Power BI).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
