The Role at a Glance
The Wage Agency Instructor, under direction, assists in training various specialty skilled and/or semi-skilled courses within the Infrastructure Training & Safety Institute (ITSI) Leadership program. Utilizes knowledge of adult learning theories and learning styles to help maximize learner success and ensure overall effectiveness of the course instruction. Performs online and/or classroom instruction, field-based skills training, and/or may provide technical assistance in a specialty area. Uses a variety of media to present course material. May assist in creating new and/or updating curriculum content, when necessary, to meet learner needs. Works with the Leadership team and ITSI customers to deliver training in and assist in development of TEEX Leadership courses.
This position reports to the Training Manager.
Qualifications of the Role
High School Diploma or GED.
Four years of experience in a key leadership role, including applicable experience instructing leadership training.
One year of adult education and/or training.
Equivalency: Will consider an associate’s degree and two years of experience in a key leadership role, including applicable experience instructing leadership training or a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Must also have one year of adult education and/or training.
