The Corporate Pilot is responsible for the safe, efficient, and professional operation of company aircraft in accordance with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), company policies, and standard operating procedures. This position supports the travel needs of company executives, clients, and other personnel, ensuring the highest standards of safety, discretion and customer service. The Corporate Pilot plays a key role in representing the company with professionalism and integrity while maintaining operational excellence in both domestic and international travel.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for the safe operation of company aircraft from taxi, take-off and landing of each flight in accordance with FAA regulations, Original Equipment Manufacture’s Checklist, company policies, and standard operating procedures to ensure safe and efficient transportation of passengers.
- Plan and execute all phases of flight operations, including pre-flight planning, flight filing, weight and balance calculations, weather assessments, fuel planning, and aircraft performance analysis.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure airworthiness and proper functioning of all aircraft systems and equipment.
- Maintain proficiency and currency in assigned aircraft through recurrent training, simulator sessions, and checkrides as required by company and regulatory authorities.
- Communicate effectively with air traffic control (ATC), flight departments, ground services, and passengers, ensuring clear and professional exchanges at all times.
- Ensure passenger safety and comfort, including briefing passengers on aircraft systems, emergency procedures, and providing professional and courteous experience.
- Deliver as needed, in flight service including the handling of alcohol and the service of catering.
- Load/unload and properly stow on aircraft all baggage as needed.
- Comply with all international, federal, state, and local aviation regulations, including customs, immigration, and operational requirements for domestic and international flights.
- Accurately complete and submit all required flight documentation, including flight logs, maintenance reports, expense records, and regulatory forms.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel to ensure the aircraft is in optimal mechanical condition and all discrepancies are addressed promptly.
- Represent the company professionally in all interactions, maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times.
- Remain available for on-call flight assignments, including occasional overnight, weekend, and international travel as needed.
- Maintain presentation and cleanliness of company aircraft.
- Ensure aircraft if properly stocked to meet the needs of passengers.
Requirements
Must be able to pass company required background checks
Must possess the following:
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot Rating
- Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator’s Permit
- Valid US Passport and be able to travel internationally without restrictions
- Valid State driver's license
- Be service-oriented with a neat, well-groomed appearance
- Be able to lift 50 pounds
