Qualifications:  
High school diploma or G.E.D. required; previous restaurant experience is preferred. Candidates must pass background and drug screening per Kaw Nation Gaming Commission regulations to obtain a gaming license (Medical Marijuana cards are accepted). Flexibility to work any shift as needed or assigned—including weekends, evenings, and holidays—is required. Frequent lifting, occasionally in excess of 50lbs, as well as bending, stooping, walking, and standing expected. Must possess strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities and Duties:
The busser’s primary responsibility is to clear used dishes, glasses, and flatware, and to professionally reset tables for incoming guests. They also assist in expediting the seating process to ensure timely service The role is both physically and mentally demanding, requiring bussers to be on their feet for extended periods. They must work well under pressure and demonstrate tact and patience when interacting with guests and collaborating with other staff members.
           
  • Remove dishes, glasses, flatware, and other items from tables promptly after guests have finished their meals.
  • Keep bus stations clean, stocked, and organized; perform side work as needed to support overall operations.
  • Assists with the general upkeep and maintenance of the facility.
  • Support servers and kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Address guest needs promptly and communicates any special requests or concerns to servers or management. 
  • Demonstrate basic reading, math, computer, money-handling, and organizational skills.
  • Maintain current food handler’s and alcohol serving (ABLE) license.
  • Adhere to uniform requirements and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing KGI.
  • Follow all applicable state, federal, and tribal laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
