Become part of a company that drives forward the security of automotive embedded systems. As a working student, you will support us in exciting projects related to penetration testing and security assessments and help to make vehicle networks more secure.

You will identify security gaps, analyze vulnerabilities, and document your findings in informative reports. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will learn a great deal and develop your professional skills.
You will actively participate in security analyses and threat models and gain valuable practical experience in a motivated team. At the same time, you will benefit from flexible working hours that are compatible with your studies.

Your Tasks:

  • You will assist in conducting penetration tests and security assessments for automotive embedded systems
  • You will help identify and analyze security gaps and vulnerabilities in embedded systems and vehicle networks
  • You will create and maintain documentation and reports on test results and recommendations
  • You will assist in conducting security analyses and threat models for automotive embedded systems

Necessary Skills:

  • Current studies in the fields of computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable degree program
  • Basic knowledge in the areas of network security, embedded systems, and vehicle networks
  • Interest and initial experience in the field of penetration testing and IT security, especially in the automotive environment
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills

Desired Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of common penetration testing tools and frameworks
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or embedded systems programming
  • Basic knowledge of embedded operating systems, Linux, or Android
  • Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
  • High level of initiative and ability to work in a team

 

Remuneration is based on our collective bargaining agreement and wage agreement. The current hourly wage for this position is EUR 17.52.
