Title: Senior Software Engineer
Location: 7 World Trade Center, 250 Greenwich Street, New York, NY 10007 (Principal place of business – telecommuting permitted)
Duties: Participate and assist in the integration of the architecture solutions, design patterns, technical strategy and roadmaps. Design and develop compact computer programs optimized for performance and efficiency. Collaborate and work with technical leads to design and build the complex solutions. Develop new userfacing features using programming tools and languages. Build UI components library which will reuse in multiple projects. Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code. Create unit testing and integration tests for each delivered module. Provide technical support for production systems, troubleshoot issues, and optimize frontend performance. (100% telecommuting position. Will consider applicants resident in the continental U.S.)
Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field plus five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer or related performing software
development and designing technical solutions. Must have experience in designing and developing complex computer programs optimized for performance and efficiency; low-level programming, memory management, and algorithm optimization for big data processing; software development lifecycle, including debugging, testing, and deployment of compact software solutions; data structures, algorithms, and system architecture; Providing technical support, including troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolving defects in production, UAT, and stage environments; applying knowledge of multithreading concepts, design patterns, and software development methodologies, including Agile, and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment, Working on OAuth integration and Rest API’s development; working with AWS resources; and using build tools and version control systems, including TFS, GIT. (100% telecommuting position. Will consider applicants resident in the continental U.S.) 5% Domestic and international travel required. Destination and frequency impossible to predict.
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $189,592 - $189,592/yr, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
