Shipping and Receiving Scheduling Coordinator bei National Dentex

Our team is growing, and we are hiring a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Davis Dental Lab in Wyoming, MI for a full-time Scheduling Coordinator.

The regular hours for this position are from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

• Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist.
• Record and schedule work.
• Assist in opening and inspecting cases.
• Assist in packaging cases for shipment.
• Answer telephone, respond to inquiries and notify customers of delivery times, when necessary.
• All other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities Preferred: 

• Knowledge of tooth anatomy
• Knowledge of billing procedures

Minimum Education and Experience Required: 

• Required: Experience with keyboard and Windows-based programs
• Preferred: Experience handling incoming calls
• Preferred: High school diploma or GED equivalent        

Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used: 

• OptiCide
• Computer, copier, telephone 

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or reach.
• Perform repetitive motions.
• Read and interpret prescriptions and other required documentation.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical information.
