We are currently seeking an experienced Professional Minute Taker to support the delivery of high-quality board and committee meeting documentation across a portfolio of clients.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work autonomously, respond effectively to deadlines, and produce professional, accurate records in line with client expectations.
What you will be doing:
- Attend client meetings (virtually and in person, as required) and take clear, accurate minutes.
- Draft and finalise minutes to a high professional standard, adhering to agreed timeframes and formats.
- Work closely with wider Co-Sec team to ensure sufficient support is provided at all times.
- Manage workload independently, prioritising conflicting deadlines across multiple clients or projects.
What you will need:
- Previous experience in a Company Secretarial or Governance role is essential. Candidates must have a working knowledge of board and committee meeting protocols and expectations.
- Demonstrable expertise in minute taking, ideally within a regulated environment.
- Ability to quickly understand complex discussions and translate them into succinct, well-structured minutes.
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive or confidential information.
- Sector experience in financial services or insurance is highly desirable.
- A self-starter who is confident working independently, with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to travel when required
Benefits, Agile Working and Additional information
Our standard office hours are Monday – Thursday 9.00am to 5.30pm and Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm. Due to the nature of this role candidates will need to be flexible in terms of working hours; in addition to our standard hours cover will be required during evenings and weekends.
