POSITION SUMMARY: The Sales Nurse Educator plays a critical role in driving the commercial success of our healthcare education solutions by serving as a subject matter expert and strategic partner to the sales team. This role combines deep nursing expertise with strong communication and presentation skills to support product demonstrations, curriculum alignment, and consultative discussions with prospective clients – connecting academic needs with product capabilities. The Sales Nurse Educator acts as a bridge between sales, marketing, and innovation teams to ensure our solutions align with market needs, educational curriculum requirements, and professional nursing competencies, ultimately supporting go-to-market strategies and client engagement efforts. The Sales Nurse Educator delivers high-impact presentations, hosts webinars, aligns product features to curricular goals, and supports strategic go-to-market initiatives in partnership with sales, marketing, and innovation teams.

Essential Accountabilities:

  • Deliver compelling, clinically-informed product presentations – in person and virtual – to support the sales team during key stages of the sales cycle.
  • Facilitate webinars, demos, and thought leadership sessions tailored to diverse healthcare and academic audiences.
  • Collaborate with clients to align product capabilities with nursing education curriculum requirements and professional nursing competencies, including:
    1. Evidence-Based Practices
    2. Published academic theories, studies, and models
    3. INACSL Healthcare Simulation Standards of Best Practice™
    4. AACN and NONPF Core Behaviors
    5. Validated educational methodologies
  • Translate clinical and educational needs into actionable feedback for product innovation and marketing.
  • Partner with the marketing team to develop educational content, case studies, and positioning strategies that resonate with nurse educators and decision-makers.
  • Act as a subject matter expert across internal departments, including training sales team members on clinical aspects of products.
  • Provide insights and guidance to support the go-to-market strategy and product messaging from a clinical and customer-use perspective.
  • Collaborate on the development of Facilitator Training documentation.
  • Represent the company at conferences and industry events as a subject matter expert.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational goals and innovation.

 

Minimum Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Doctoral degree (DNP, EdD, or PhD) and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) required
  • Preferred certifications include Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) and Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) 
  • Technology Curious: Demonstrates a strong interest in learning and integrating emerging technologies to enhance educational offerings.
  • Prior experience in sales support, customer success, or clinical education in a commercial setting is a strong plus.
  • Proficient in delivering professional presentations and virtual webinars.
  • Experience using simulation as a teaching technique and developing simulations is essential.
  • Oral & Written Communication: Has proven writing and editorial skills. Speaks and writes clearly, informatively, and persuasively in positive or negative situations; varies style to meet needs; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; demonstrates group presentation skills; presents data effectively.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with a proactive, team-oriented approach.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. 

Travel

  • Overnight travel up to 50% is required to support field sales activities and events.
  • Must possess a valid and unrestricted driver’s license
