We're hiring a Financial Analyst in Sydney on a 4-month fixed term contract with an immediate start! If you're experienced with Workday Financials and month-end close processes, this is a great chance to step into a hands-on role and support key reporting and compliance activities.

About The Role:
The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting month-end and half year-end close processes and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. The role collaborates closely with finance team to streamline financial systems and reporting processes.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure timely month-end close processes
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports
- Support Accounts payable and Accounts receivable
- Assist with internal and external audit requirements
- Other duties as reasonably required
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an accounting or finance role
- Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards and financial regulations
- Hands-on experience with Workday Financials, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and reporting modules
- Experience supporting finance system implementations or process improvements
- Strong proficiency in Workday Financials and Excel, with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills with attention to detail
- Clear communication and ability to work independently or within cross-functional teams
