We work collaboratively with the Victorian State Government to ensure we fulfill regulatory requirements, deliver State projects and safeguard customer data. The Victorian State Government retains sole responsibility for road access, infrastructure and safety.

About the opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic Product Manager to lead the development and delivery of innovative products that drive both commercial success and exceptional customer experiences within our Custom Plates department. In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders, including customers, industry bodies, technology teams, legal, compliance, project management, and government representatives. You will play a key role in identifying and evaluating new product ideas by analysing customer needs, market trends, and product requirements.
You will be responsible for shaping and executing go-to-market strategies and achieving financial and product performance targets. As a critical part of cross-functional teams, you will help drive product and business planning, developing and maintaining clear product roadmaps to ensure timely and effective delivery. This is a fantastic opportunity to influence the strategic direction of products that make a real impact.
About you
You are an experienced Product Manager with a proven track record of guiding both physical and digital products through their full lifecycle — from research and development to market launch. Your ability to integrate customer insights with data-driven analysis enables you to build compelling business cases and deliver products that meet real market needs.
With a strong commercial mindset, you consistently align product strategies with financial goals, collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams including UX, technology, sales, and marketing. Your experience spans complex regulatory and transformation environments, where your understanding of privacy, data security, and risk mitigation has been critical to success.
You bring a solutions-oriented approach, balancing strategic vision with practical execution. Your background in physical product development complements your digital expertise, allowing you to deliver integrated solutions that resonate with customers and drive business value.
