The Position

Join our dynamic PCR Software Development team as an AI Intern, where you'll help transform the molecular diagnostics landscape by exploring and applying Artificial Intelligence in innovative software solutions. In this role, you'll actively contribute to advancing cutting-edge technologies that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and patient outcomes. The Opportunity

As an AI Intern within our PCR Software Development team, you will have the chance to make a meaningful impact while working in a collaborative and innovative environment. Your role will involve:

  • Contributing to ongoing or new AI-related projects that drive advancements in molecular diagnostics.

  • Engaging with stakeholders to gather input, understand challenges, and translate needs into actionable insights.

  • Supporting the team in brainstorming ideas, implementing AI-driven solutions, and validating their effectiveness.

  • Presenting findings to the team and key stakeholders, along with proposing improvements based on your learnings.

  • Collaborating with a cross-functional team of experts to explore cutting-edge technologies and methodologies.

  • Enhancing your technical and problem-solving skills while working on impactful, real-world initiatives.

  • Participating in a workplace culture that values inclusion, innovation, and continuous learning.

  • Helping to shape the future of molecular diagnostics through your contributions to AI-driven software development.

Who You Are

You are a motivated individual passionate about innovation and eager to make an impact in the field of molecular diagnostics. As a valued addition to our collaborative team, you bring the following skills and attributes:

  • You are currently enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or you have completed your studies within the last 12 months.

  • You have a strong interest in Artificial Intelligence with hands-on experience in technologies such as modern LLM/GenAI stacks, vector stores, and retrieval techniques (e.g., RAG).

  • You are fluent in both spoken and written English, capable of clearly communicating ideas and findings.

  • You enjoy working with stakeholders to understand their needs and can translate those into actionable solutions.

  • You are curious, proactive, and motivated to contribute to impactful projects in an inclusive and forward-thinking environment.

The preferred start date for the internship is December 2025, duration: 12 months. Please state your preferred start date and the desired duration of the internship in your application.
