Job Description
Shift: Monday-Friday, no weekends and no holidays.
The Wound and Ostomy Nurse (WO) functions as an integral member of the patient care team by providing specialized direct nursing care to a specific group of patients with stomas, fistulas, pressure sores, drains, incontinence or other skin/wound problems. The WO RN collaborates with the APP and wound care medical director to meet complex patient needs. The WO RN provides education to nursing staff regarding this patient population. The WO RN develops plans of care, evaluates achievement of nursing outcomes, revises plans and monitors the ongoing quality of care given to these patients.

Education:
- BSN from an accredited school of nursing
- 2 years clinical experience
- ~State of WI RN License
- ~Begin process of WOC certification within 2 years of hire
- 2 years clinical experience
- Master's in nursing
- Prior wound/ostomy experience
- Epic documentation and report experience
- Graduate of WOCN accredited professional education program
