Job Title: Job Placement Specialist
Locations: Goodwill North Central Texas --- 1801 South Main, Weatherford, Texas
Salary: Based on Experience
Work Hours: Full Time, Exempt. Typical schedule of Monday through Friday, 8 am start time

General Job Duties: Identify best practices in the field and incorporate new ideas into partnership and placement opportunities. Contact prospective employers to explain placement services and solicit employment opportunities.
Responsible for developing a minimum of 5 business partnerships with written commitment letters per month in order to generate job leads and job openings with local businesses throughout Tarrant and surrounding Counties within our service area.
Communicate and share all openings and partnerships to team members, and all Goodwill Works Staff members as needed. Responsible for a minimum of 15 job placements each month. Must complete and enter a minimum of 5 job orders per month in Clarity soft. Update job orders in CaseWorthy daily or as needed. Maintain data entry management in the stated timeframe; document all activities for clients and employers within 24 hours of the event occurring.
Attend and participate in staff meetings, case management meetings, training sessions, etc. as required by the Agency. As well as attend all training and credentialing sessions as required by the department. Develop and maintain case notes in Caseworthy and Clarity soft to ensure placement and retention activities along with employer contact information is documented.
This position must research and educate participants on accessing and how to complete various employment applications, researching job opportunities as well as assisting fill out and submit application paperwork, and continue to develop ongoing partnerships and commitments with local companies that will hire Program participants.
Completed a minimum of 30 professional development and/or continuing education training hours annually. Submit weekly (matrix’s) each Friday and monthly reports as assigned and within the stated timeframe.
Safeguard company-issued property. Perform other duties as assigned that would lead to the successful operation of department, team, Program, and/or mission.
Skills/Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Vocational Rehabilitation, Business Administration, or Marketing with four years of experience in working with business and nonprofit organizations. Self-starter with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with other team members. Proficient in standard computer operating systems; MS Apps. Bilingual a plus.
Physical Requirements: Due to established performance factors/goals, this position must be able to work at a fast pace in order to achieve outcomes. The incumbent may be in an office environment for approximately 50% of the time with the remaining time working with clients and attending outside community functions/meetings related to the job responsibilities. It is to be noted that the incumbent must be able to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc., in the process of performing their job function and be able to provide own transportation to off-site. This position requires the incumbent to have communication capabilities, via cell phone and/or Smartphone technology
