The Packout (Final Assembler) puts all the finishing touches on the window prior to being sent to Wrapping.  This positions fully assembles the window, testing that each part is functioning properly, and preps it for end of line inspection.

• Stationed at the production line A-frame, the Packout position will verify the window frame and warranty labels match.  Visually inspect the frame for any defects based on quality guidelines.
• Complete the assembly of the window by inserting the top and bottom sash into the frame.
• Once the sashes are in place, test the locking mechanism of the window to ensure it is operational.
• Other duties as assigned, including housekeeping and cross training to become proficient across multiple positions and production lines.

·        High School diploma or GED

·        0-2 years experience in a fast-paced assembly line work

·        Ability to read and comprehend English

·        Use, understand, and thoroughly read a tape measure

·         

·        Physical demands may include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, climbing, pushing/pulling, forward bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, squatting, crawling, postural balancing, manipulating, trunk rotation, handling, gripping, and talking (hearing).

·        Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.

·        Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided and is required to be worn daily.
