Director – IT Product Solutions
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Team Leadership and Management:
- Provide strong leadership to a team of business analysts, including setting clear expectations, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and train new individual contributors as needed.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and mentor team members to enhance their skills and career growth.
- Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the organization's technology strategy and translate it into actionable goals for the business analyst team.
- Align the activities of the business analyst team with the company's overall technology roadmap.
- Project Management:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects that require business analysis expertise.
- Ensure that project scopes, requirements, and objectives are well-defined and clearly communicated to all stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Requirements Analysis:
- Work closely with business stakeholders, users, and subject matter experts to gather, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements for technology initiatives.
- Ensure that requirements are well-documented, clear, and aligned with the overall project goals.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the technology organization and across business units.
- Collaborate with business analysts to develop and implement streamlined processes and best practices for requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as a bridge between technology teams and business stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and understanding between the two groups.
- Present findings, project updates, and recommendations to executive leadership and other relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement quality assurance practices to ensure that requirements are accurate, complete, and meet the needs of the business.
- Develop and oversee testing strategies to validate that technology solutions meet the defined requirements.
- Change Management:
- Facilitate change management activities related to technology projects, ensuring that users and stakeholders are prepared for and comfortable with the changes being implemented.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Maintain a strong understanding of the organization's technology landscape, including relevant tools, platforms, and industry trends.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in technology and business analysis methodologies.
- Collaboration and Cross-Functional Engagement:
- Collaborate with other technology teams, such as development, QA, and project management, to ensure seamless coordination and integration of business analysis activities.
- Budget and Resource Management:
- Manage the budget and resources allocated to the business analyst team, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and alignment with strategic goals.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation related to requirements, project plans, and other relevant artifacts.
- Provide regular status updates and reports to executive leadership and other stakeholders.
- Sales Support:
- Provide support to the sales process as it relates to the Managed Services Delivery Platform
- Participation in both RFP narrative response and presence in oral presentations.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities required:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in a technology related field
- 10+ years of relevant industry and role experience
- 5+ years of experience working in and/or supporting a Managed Services environment.
- ServiceNow Design Experience and Expertise
- ITIL Foundations Certification is recommended. ITIL Design, Transition, Operations, and CSI are a plus.
- Can define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to benefit the organization and maintain client satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with others, which could include multiple levels of management and external clients and vendors.
- Must be able to work with and lead a geographically dispersed team.
