Description
Administering and executing human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development and performs as company administrator for Paylocity.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as first point of contact for employee inquiries, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate person.
Provide an effective and dedicated advisory service to all Sequel employees.
Organization of employee events and recognition events
Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
Talent acquisition; ensuring a smooth hiring and onboarding process. Accurately inputs all information into HRIS system upon onboarding and keeps employee information up to date.
May attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations, as determined by the manager and HRBP.
Manages onboarding of benefits and maintains accurate benefit information for employee and dependents. Acts as a point of contact for benefits questions/concerns.
Develops/runs reports as requested for timely human resource information ie: attendance, benefits, compensation, etc.
Conducts salary/compensation surveys keeping Sequel competitive in the marketplace.
Suggests policy and procedure improvements as necessary keeps the employee handbook up to date electronically.
Ensure Sequel compliance with state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws
Support payroll processing and ensures proper benefit deductions are accurate.
Acts as point of contact for accident and injury reporting and completes the OSHA 300 log.
Manages human resource projects as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business, and/or Human Resources experience with a PHR or SPHR certificate.
3-5 years HR generalist experience
Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics and cultural awareness
Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
Advanced knowledge of MS Office (including Excel), HRIS systems (prefer Paylocity), and being comfortable learning new technical systems
Knowledge of HR federal laws and regulations
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at a time.
Must be able totraverse the production facility.
