For this role, we are looking for someone who loves large-scale projects and who enjoys aviation… the on-the-ground part that is. Schlosser Signs is expanding our portfolio of airport projects, and we want a person who is passionate about airports. Someone who can bring clarity, direction, and excellence to one of the most visible parts of the airport experience—signage.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager who can operate at a million miles per hour to keep up with our team and our clients. Someone to help oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of signage projects within Denver International Airport. This role requires balancing creativity, compliance, safety, and logistics making sure projects are completed on time and on budget while maintaining our quality standards.

This position is not a temporary or contract-based role. We are looking for a full-time member of our team who wants to grow this market segment with us.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Manages day-to-day operational aspects of multiple projects with varying scopes.

· Review deliverables including drawings and samples prepared by our team before delivering to clients.

· Complete submittals, RFIs, and other compliance documents for our contract partners (both general and sub)

· Schedule and facilitate client meetings to coordinate with other contractors, trades, and scopes.

· Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

· Creates and executes project schedules, including revisions as appropriate.

· Act as a liaison between airport authorities, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.

· Conduct site inspections to verify proper installation, placement, and functionality of signs.

· Anticipate project risks and proactively work with other team members in implementing solutions to avoid delays or disruptions.

· Prepare and deliver regular progress reports, schedules, and budget updates to stakeholders.

· Maintain strict adherence to airport security protocols and operational requirements during project execution.

· Manage end-to-end signage projects within the airport, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.

· Support long-term signage strategies, including digital signage integration and system upgrades.

· Works with our accounting department to ensure timely and accurate invoicing, creation of change orders as needed, and monitoring of receivables for projects

· Ability to present themselves in a professional manner to represent our company image.

· Assists with completing project legal documents and ensures they are completed on time in accordance with the project schedule.

· Identifies business development and "add-on" sales opportunities as they relate to specific clients and communicates these opportunities to sales.

· Participate in regular planning and status meetings with other departments. 

· Keeps team members well informed of any project changes. 

· Reports on the health of their projects with key indicators.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

· Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change.

· Excellent communication skills for client interactions, internal teams, and vendor coordination. 

· Negotiation and conflict resolution skills to manage timelines, budgets, and expectations. 

· Analytical and problem-solving skills to address production or installation issues quickly. 

· Technical aptitude to review shop drawings, proofs, and installation plans. 

· Ability to adapt to unexpected challenges (delays, material shortages, scheduling conflicts).

· Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget. 

· Punctually responds to voicemail, emails, and other forms of correspondence with customers, vendors, and other subcontractors.

Preferred Education and Experience:

· Project Management Professional (PMP Preferred). 

· 2 plus years of Project Management experience (Construction preferred). 

· Bachelors (Preferred). 

Work Environment:

· A mix of on-site and in-office work with frequent walkthroughs, coordination meetings, and inspections across various projects.

· Coordination with vendors, contractors, and airport authorities is required.

· Evening or overnight work may be necessary as mandated by airport delegates or other trade partners to avoid passenger disruption.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications: 

· Must pass pre-employment drug test, background check and physical.

· Periodic project-based drug screening may be required

· Successful completion of airport badging process must occur within 30 days of hire. Schlosser will provide forms, requirements, and time during work hours to complete this process.
