PCSI is looking for a Ground Transportation Manager on our fleet maintenance contract on Tinker Air Force Base! The Ground Transportation Manager oversees ground transportation support for a fleet of Air Force motor vehicles and manages a team of drivers transporting Air Force personnel and cargo. This position is responsible for ensuring licensing of all motor vehicle operators and safety of both employees and customers. The Ground Transportation Manager also administers the Official Use program and maintains records and reports in compliance with DoD guidelines.

What You'll Do as Ground Transportation Manager:

  • Responsible for the efficient and economical movement of personnel and cargo in accordance with the PWS and Air Force Ground Transportation instructions (DAFI24-301).
  • Manage, plan, organize, and direct ground transportation support and the assigned SP GSA fleet.
  • Administer the customer’s Official Use program in accordance with DoD Instruction.
  • Provide oversight of examination and licensing of installation motor vehicle operators.
  • Responsible to ensure vehicle operators are qualified to operate GMV/s and manpower requirements are met.
  • Maintains historical files for workload data.
  • Updates quarterly MICT checklist.
  • Responsible for the safety of all customers and employees.

What You'll Need:

  • High School Diploma or GED required, CCAF (Community College of the Air Forces) A.A.S. Transportation degree desired.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in DoD ground transportation required, US Air Force experience preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years prior supervisory experience required.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Knowledge of PC functions and Software.
    • Operation of windows applications, MS Word, MS Excel, etc. and related applications.
    • Knowledge of Air Force Online Vehicle Integrated Management System (OLVIMS).
    • Knowledge of methods, materials and equipment used in the various areas of assignment, safety practices and procedures.
    • Ability to plan, direct, train, oversee and work in the assigned area.
    • Ability to analyze data.
    • Ability to communicate both orally and in written format, including ability to instruct others in correct vehicle operating procedures and safe use of those vehicles and equipment.
    • Ability to work both with minimal supervision and as a team player.

    Other Requirements:

    • Ability to pass criminal, drug, financial, and driving screening.
    • Possess valid driver’s license and maintain good driving record.
    • Regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Frequently required to sit and climb or balance.
    • Ability to reach with hands and arms.
    • Vision requirements include close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
    • Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
    • Ability to be on call after hours and handle emergency calls.
    • Ability to work outside in inclement weather as needed and be exposed to various dirt, debris, and odors.
    • If required, ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and base access to assigned site(s).
    • Travel up to 10% locally.
