Cooper Auto Group is seeking talented individuals seeking a career in Human Resources. This position will assist in all aspects of Human Resources to include employee relations, benefits, compliance, and employee engagement.
- Facilitate the comprehensive onboarding process for new hires, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Address and resolve employee inquiries with utmost professionalism, escalating complex issues to the HR Manager when necessary.
- Manage the coordination of benefits enrollment between providers and employees across various retail dealerships, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Execute 401K reconciliation processes with precision and attention to detail.
- Process required termination information for appropriate follow-up actions, including unemployment claims and COBRA offers.
- Collaborate with the HR Manager on special projects as required, maintaining a high standard of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Min High School degree required. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of State and Federal employment laws and regulations.
- HR (PHR, SHRM) related certification(s) preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
