About the Department
The purpose of this class is to perform standard administrative work providing instructional support within Continuing Education Operations and Online Learning.
Position Duties
Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of experience in the administration of higher education programs, both credit and non-credit.
Compensation within the posted range is determined by a candidate's education level and/or years of experience in the field. Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of the scale.
Minimum Qualifications
- Coordinate a functional process within assigned college department or division.
- Assist upper management in developing policies and procedures.
- Monitor compliance with policies and procedures.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external organizations
- Serve as an advocate for the college and its students, as required.
- Conduct and attend meetings, as required.
- Prepare, analyze, and provide reports on miscellaneous subjects, as requested.
Other Qualifications
- Update and maintain online vendor websites.
- Coordinate online course inventory and logistics with program area directors and coordinators.
- Coordinate student registration, attendance reporting, and grades in CCBC and online vendor learning management systems (LMS).
- Facilitate technical support and customer service for students taking courses from online vendors.
- Upload information into online vendor LMS systems.
- Manage online vendor billing reconciliation.
- Conduct ongoing evaluation of CCBC and vendor courses, including School of Continuing Education (CE) compliance with both CCBC and external online standards and policy.
- Contribute to the development of CE online courses.
- Assist with the development, presentation, and evaluation of CE staff training on online courses and related topics.
- Compile and manage data associated with cohort projected sections and assign cohort codes.
- Monitor the status of cohorts and coordinate updates with program area staff. status updates on cohorts
- Assist with monitoring and documenting student progress in cohorts for completion reporting.
- Assist with the coordination of the course syllabus project.
- Assist with proofing CC10s.
- As part of a team, provide logistics coordination and monitor development status of learning outcomes projects.
